Fort Lancaster Veterans Retreat Design

Fort Lancaster Retreat will cover 54 acres and feature cabins where veterans and family can spend 10 days learning new techniques and methods to manage PTSD. The treatment process is not a firmly structured program but is modeled after the culture of family in the military. This has been shown to be an effective method of managing PTSD as well as educating families in an effective way of identifying signs. Veterans are not broken, we are just unique in that we thrive on protecting and defending. This is not a stigma retreat. This is a place where veterans can be among their brothers and sisters and recognize they are NEVER ALONE, NEVER HAVE BEEN, NEVER WILL BE.
